About the venue

Tønder Festival is one of Denmark's longest-running folk music festivals, held annually in late August in the South Jutland town of Tønder. Since 1975 it has drawn musicians and audiences from across the world, with a programme centred on folk, roots and world music across multiple stages in and around the town.
