Tranquebar is an independent bookshop on Borgergade in central Copenhagen, founded in 2006 by Vibeke Hansen and Tina Larsen. It bills itself as a world bookshop, shelving fiction, travel guides and non-fiction by continent and country rather than by genre. Alongside the books there is a café, and the shop regularly hosts literary events and concerts with a focus on world music and jazz.
