Marie Carmen Koppel is one of Denmark's most renowned pop and soul singers. This evening she presents her biography 'Mit glitrende kludetæppe' - a personal story about music, illness, tragedy and love.

She reads from the book and sings throughout, accompanied by pianist Steen Rasmussen.

Hvidovre Hovedbibliotek is the main public library of Hvidovre Municipality, situated on Hvidovrevej close to the town hall. The building houses study spaces, meeting rooms, a children's section and a café alongside its collections of books, e-books and newspapers. A regular programme of author evenings, reading clubs and cultural workshops runs throughout the year. As an open library, the building is accessible every day from 07:00 to 23:00, with staff on hand during regular opening hours.
