Hvidovre Hovedbibliotek is the main public library of Hvidovre Municipality, situated on Hvidovrevej close to the town hall. The building houses study spaces, meeting rooms, a children's section and a café alongside its collections of books, e-books and newspapers. A regular programme of author evenings, reading clubs and cultural workshops runs throughout the year.
