Biblioteksklubben Café Evenings: Mette Ehlers Mikkelsen - War, Love and Crocodiles

Mette Ehlers Mikkelsen is the first Danish woman to have visited every country in the world - and one of only five mothers globally who have travelled everywhere with children.

This evening she shares stories from her journeys through war zones, love stories and encounters with crocodiles: life on the road with her three children, from giant spiders on the menu to close meetings with locals. She also discusses her fourth attempt at the Pyongyang Marathon in North Korea, which marked the end of a major life project, and offers practical insights into how to plan trips to the world's least visited destinations with children, budget and sustainability in mind.

Tickets cost 95 kr. (regular price) or 75 kr. for Library Club members and include the lecture, coffee, tea and pastries. Tickets are non-refundable unless the library cancels the event.
