DR Novel Club 2027, Reading Group 1

Kalundborg Library offers two reading circles where participants read and discuss the six nominated novels for the DR Romanprisen (DR Novel Prize). This is reading circle 1, led by facilitator Lise Brüel.

The group meets once a month, with the facilitator guiding the conversation so everyone has a voice. Together you explore plot, themes, language, and characters - and hearing others' interpretations of the same text opens new perspectives.

At the end of the season, each group votes on their top 3, and the library sends the results to the national steering committee, which announces the winner of the DR Romanprisen 2026. The result is published in June.

Joint opening meeting for both reading circles: Tuesday, November 3 at 17:00-18:30. Reading circle 1 then meets on Tuesdays at 16:00-18:00: December 1, January 5, February 2, March 2, April 6, and May 11. Final joint meeting: Thursday, May 20 at 17:00-18:30.
