Forest Bathing for Beginners - Valby Hegn
A slow-paced walk through a small forest area, mostly on trails and in silence. By opening all five senses - smell, touch, taste, sight and hearing - and breathing in the fresh air deeply, your body gets to relax.
Along the way we practice listening to nature and sitting still. We gather a little, learn about the forest we walk in, and at a beautiful spot we pause with a warm cup of "Forest Tea" and homemade cake while we talk about our experiences. Bente will give examples of how to find your own approach to forest bathing and how to practice it more easily in the future.
Regular forest bathing for 2-4 hours weekly can help relieve stress and anxiety, improve sleep and strengthen the immune system.
Bring: weather-appropriate clothing (preferably rain gear), day backpack, mug for tea, sitting mat and waterproof hiking shoes. Max. 20 participants.
