Description was written before the event

Philip Glass Ensemble performs "Glassworks" - one of Philip Glass's most celebrated works - at Konservatoriets Koncertsal (formerly Radiohuset).

About the venue: Alice

ALICE is a regional music venue in Nørrebro, formed in 2018 from the merger of the former venues Global and Jazzhouse. Named after American jazz pianist and composer Alice Coltrane, it focuses on music that rarely finds space on Danish stages - from global roots, folk and jazz/improv to sound art, new composed music, metal and electronic experiments. The venue also stages concerts at external locations such as Marmorkirken and Glyptoteket.

About: Philip Glass Ensemble

Since 1968, the Philip Glass Ensemble has been the sole group performing Glass's music with the authority that comes from having built it from the ground up. Led by music director Michael Riesman, the ensemble carries minimalism's pulsating sound language to concert halls across the globe - from Carnegie Hall to the Sydney Opera House.
