Amar:Litt Presents Alberte Winding — Kvarterhuset, Copenhagen

Alberte Winding (born 1963) is a singer and author whose song "Lyse nætter" was named Denmark's favourite song in 2026. The same tone runs through her literary work: she made her debut as an adult author in 2008 with "Tisvilde Strand" and has since published "Kastevind", "Småt brændbart", and "Hvad jeg tænker mens du taler".

In 2025, "En sang man kan græde til" was released - a story about Saskia, who travels to New York to record a sound art project, but perhaps mainly to escape herself. The question is how to move forward when the sorrows of the past follow close behind.

For the evening, literature facilitator Lea Fløe Christensen interviews Alberte Winding about vulnerability, motherhood, feeling lost - and her relationship with words and artistic work.

Amar:Litt is a group of volunteers who arrange literary events on Amager with support from Copenhagen Municipality Libraries and Amager East Local Committee.
