Join this Silent Reading Party for a quiet evening of reading, dinner, and an introduction to the current exhibition at Viborg Kunsthal, Superposition, plus a few reading recommendations.

Superposition features new works by Asger Harbou Gjerdevik spanning painting, sculpture, and installation. The exhibition draws on the concept of superposition from quantum physics: the works deliberately exist between multiple expressions and meanings at once. Gjerdevik employs 'sampling', making the paintings' styles difficult to categorize, while the sculptures build on experiments with everyday materials and objects. Throughout the exhibition spaces, colours, light, and themes shift, creating a dynamic narrative together.

About the venue: Hovedbiblioteket

Viborg's main library serves as the central library for Viborg Municipality and heads a network of 20 branch libraries. The building, completed in 1989-1991, was designed by architect Thomas Meedom-Bæch and features artwork by Professor Stig Brøgger. Alongside its book and children's collections, it houses a Makerspace with 3D printers, a laser cutter and VR equipment, an events hall called Skakbrættet, and several meeting rooms. Self-service access is available from 07:00 to 22:00 every day.
