Comic Workshop - The Mysterious Egg
Børnekulturhus Ama´r, Copenhagen · 40 kr. · ≈ 5 €
At the comic workshop, we tell stories through pictures - and there's room for all kinds of lines. You don't need to be able to write or spell to make a comic, but language can certainly be part of it if you want to play with speech bubbles and text.
Today's theme is The Mysterious Egg. Maybe your character finds an egg and wonders what's hidden inside - or maybe the egg itself is the main character of the story. Is it enormous and rolling down a hill into a city? Or tiny, appearing in a nest from a secret miniature world? If you don't have an idea yet, you can explore it together with your parents: What if...?
During the day there's inspiration material to browse through, and the workshop covers the possibilities of comics - speech bubbles, composition, colours and expression. There will also be a large shared comic strip where everyone can draw a picture and continue the story.
The Saturday workshop is drop-in and open 10:00-14:30. The price is 40 kr. per person - everyone pays, both children and adults who participate. Children must have an adult with them, and the adults are responsible for their children during the entire visit. The workshop leader is always a trained artist, architect, set designer or designer.
