Ph.D. and satire researcher Dennis Meyhoff Brink gives a lecture on why those in power have especially feared erotic, satirical, and political texts - and how authors, booksellers, and readers found creative ways around censorship and turned forbidden books into bestsellers.

The afternoon begins with a 25-minute presentation, followed by discussion on the topic over coffee and cake. The lecture is livestreamed, so participants from across the country can follow along.
