Philosophical Conversation at SG25

Philosophical Conversation on Hartmut Rosa: 9 November – 23 November 2026, SG25, Haderslev. Tickets cost 50–100 kr.

The event is supported by Kultursamvirket in Haderslev Municipality.

The lecture "Hartmut Rosa and the Importance of Conversation for Democracy" is held by Karen Mølbæk and introduces the sociologist Hartmut Rosa - Germany's answer to Svend Brinkmann. Rosa is known for his diagnosis of our time: we live in a high-speed society where the demand for constant growth and optimization shapes not only how society is organized, but also how we think and relate to each other. This can lead to alienation - from ourselves and others - and according to Rosa, it threatens democratic conversation.

Rosa finds the answer in what he calls resonant relations: moments when we are in harmony with other people or feel connected to the world around us. The lecture invites the evening's participants to experience resonance themselves through conversation with one another.

Karen Mølbæk is a parish priest in the Danish People's Church and holds a cand.mag. in religion, psychology and social studies, HD(O), and a master's degree in leadership and organizational psychology.
