In autumn 2026, "1%" is released - the final instalment in Maren Uthaug's speculative trilogy, which also includes the bestsellers "11%" and "88%". In 2027, she embarks on a national tour, and at this event she discusses the ideas behind the speculative world of the percentage trilogy: a matriarchal society where free-roaming men have been eliminated, female orgasms are considered mental hygiene, and everything connected with men is uncanny and repulsive.

Uthaug received the Golden Laurels for "11%" and won the title "Novel of the Year" at the Mofibo Awards two years in a row - for "11%" and "88%" respectively. Both books have brought her surprising press coverage, hostile messages in her inbox, and long queues at book signings.

The event takes place in the Moon room at Kulturhuset Bispen - and falls precisely on the evening of International Women's Day. The last time Uthaug visited Kulturhuset Bispen was in 2015, when she drew stories from her "Things I Did" universe.
