Parent-Child RAP

In this 90-minute workshop at Krudttønden, the child is the main act - mum or dad is the backup rapper. You can come as one adult and one child, or as a small family crew.

Rapper and songwriter Carlos aka Mund de Carlo guides you through games with rhymes, flow, and freestyle rap. You juggle with words, rap over beats, and find your own style. A stack of children's books serves as inspiration: a quirky character or a good idea from a book can become the starting point for a verse - or you rap about what's bubbling in your own heads.

Each crew writes a rap verse and records it in a mobile recording studio. You take the track home as an audio file. Finally, the stage lights come on, the microphones are grabbed, and everyone performs for each other.
