A German Requiem - Brahms: Saturday 24 October 2026, 16:00–17:00, Sankt Jakobs Kirke, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 60–110 kr.

On Saturday, 24 October at 16:00, the choir Concentus and chamber orchestra perform Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem at Sankt Jakobs Kirke on Østerbro. The conductor is Toke Brorson Odin.

The work differs from the classical requiem tradition by being written in German - Brahms' own mother tongue - rather than Latin, and with consolation for the bereaved as its focus rather than prayer for the dead.

The concert is supported by Østerbro Lokaludvalg. The fee is included in the ticket price.
