Description was written before the event

Art and creative community ZIR Amager hosts a comic workshop for children aged 8-14. Participants work with drawing techniques, storyboarding, and character design, and each child creates their own personal comic to take home.

The workshop runs on two dates: Wednesday 22 September and Wednesday 29 September, 15:30-17:30. The price is 200 kr. for both dates.

The workshop is led by Vera and Josephine.

About: Vera

Recorder player Vera Stæhr and guitarist William Damgaard Knudsen met at MGK Sjælland and have been performing as a duo since 2022. Their Hjemstavn Komponistprojekt, based in Næstved and supported by the Liljekonval Fonden among others, commissioned eight young composers to write personal works for the duo inspired by the concept of homeland.
