Revysangens genklang

Revysangens genklang - lecture with music: Friday 11 December 2026, 10:00–12:00, Foreningshuset – Sønderborg Kaserne, Sønderborg. Tickets cost 175 kr.

Revysangens Genklang is a lecture with music that traces the history of Danish revue from its early scenes to contemporary performances. Along the way, the story unfolds of how revue has reflected and commented on society across generations.

The programme features songs by prominent artists such as Liva Weel, Ludvig Brandstrup, Osvald Helmuth, Lisbeth Dahl and Leif Maibom - alongside newer revue songs. The songs are woven together with stories and anecdotes about their creation and significance, and there is an opportunity for audience participation in singing. Upon request, the programme can be supplemented with short sketches.

On stage are Birgitte Antonius (vocals) and John Skou (piano), who also guide the audience through revue history.
