Farewell Concert for Lars Sømod Jensen: Sunday 3 January 2027, 15:00–16:00, Vor Frelsers Kirke, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

After 25 years as organist at Vor Frelsers Kirke, Lars Sømod Jensen is stepping down. His tenure has encompassed roles as concert organist, bell-ringer, choir director, composer, and arranger - and countless high masses and church services, which he accompanied with a strong liturgical sensibility and considerable musical skill.

His departure is marked with an organ concert on Sunday, 3 January 2027 at 15:00 in Vor Frelsers Kirke, where Lars performs Olivier Messiaen's La Nativité du Seigneur. The concert serves as both a farewell and a 25-year jubilee celebration.

Following the concert, there will be a reception in the church. Free admission.
