Nørrebro Library dedicates an entire day to food - from what we put in our shopping basket to what we put in our mouths at home.

The programme includes talks on ultra-processed foods and the body, nutritional psychiatry, and food labelling - how do we actually read and understand them? The day also features a food workshop, local actors, family activities, and ideas about the future of meals.

A central question is how we navigate a world where the food industry designs products scientifically engineered to satisfy our senses - food that looks like food, but isn't really. There are activities for both children and adults, and you can easily attend just one part of the programme or follow the whole day.
