Scenographic Sensory Workshop with Debbie and Franz · Copenhagen

Sensory Workshop for Toddlers with Debbie and Franz: Tuesday 13 October 2026, 09:30–11:15, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

In a sensory room with colorful curtains printed with natural forms, Franz and Debbie invite children aged 1-4 to explore nature with all their senses. From small and large suitcases, tactile treasures are unpacked one by one: What does it sound like when you shake plant seeds? Does sheep's wool smell? Can you make music on a potted plant, or draw with help from nature? And what does parsley actually taste like?

The workshop lasts approximately 35 minutes and runs twice - at 09:30 and 10:30 - for groups of up to 12 people. Free with registration.

Behind the workshop are musician and illustrator Franz Bomberg and textile artist Debbie Kathrine Sørensen, both affiliated with Solvang Library in 2026 for the project Nature's Fantasy / Fantasy's Nature, supported by Amager Vest Local Committee, Nordea Foundation, and children's cultural funds.

The event is part of the Teatermagi festival during the autumn break (week 42), which brings stage art to cultural centres, libraries, and theatres in Østerbro, Vesterbro, Amager, Nørrebro, Vanløse, Valby, Indre By, Brønshøj-Husum, Sydhavnen, and Bispebjerg. The festival is supported by Augustinus Foundation and Copenhagen's Stage Art Committee.
