Ulla Bendixen is a core member of the Danish folktronica group Sorten Muld, which blends traditional Danish folk music with electronic soundscapes. She contributes vocals and sound design, and co-created the album project "Stemmer i Voks", drawing on historical phonograph recordings collected by 19th-century folklorist Evald Tang Kristensen.
