How Did We End Up Eating So Poorly? · Nørrebro Bibliotek, Copenhagen

How Did We End Up Eating So Poorly: Saturday 7 November 2026, 11:00–12:30, Nørrebro Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Our eating habits have changed dramatically over recent generations. Ultra-processed, nutrient-poor foods now dominate our shopping baskets and plates - with harmful consequences for body and health, according to the latest research.

But what should we eat instead, and how? Mette Mølbak, food editor at Politiken, provides answers. She has just published the book "The Professor's Path to Inner Health", co-written with professor Oluf Borbye Pedersen, and discusses the power our gut bacteria have over us and how we can eat in ways that promote beneficial bacteria.

This event is part of Copenhagen Public Libraries' festival "Wild About Science", running through October and November with science communication for adults in various formats at libraries across Copenhagen.
