Turn a Plate in an Afternoon

Learn to throw pottery on the wheel in this hands-on afternoon workshop. The course costs 100 kr. including clay for your first plate. Glazing and firing are paid separately afterwards. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Your instructor is Jesper Nielsen, a craftsperson at Håndværkeriet who works across the workshops - ceramics, glazing, sewing, and woodworking. He has thrown the new plates for Bispens Café, among other work. Håndværkeriet provides vinyl records that you can use to press patterns into your piece.

By the end of the course, you'll have your first plate ready and a solid foundation to continue developing your own ceramic work.
