Threatened Plant Species in the Royal Agricultural University Garden

Many plant species today face extinction due to human impact and climate change. On this guided tour, you will learn how the Royal Agricultural University Garden works with Nordic plant collections to preserve rare and threatened plants for the future.

The tour passes several of the garden's threatened species, and you will hear about their history. Along the way, we also stop at other plants in the garden and learn about their characteristics, origins, and significance.

Meeting point is at Café Hav a Java Væksthuset. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.
