In Between Time - theatre: 31 October – 29 November 2026, Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium, Holstebro. Tickets cost 50–70 kr.
A siren sounds in the distance. Is it war - or a world in upheaval? In Between Time explores the human condition in an era marked by geopolitical tensions, upheaval and polarization, where the familiar slowly dissolves and the world begins to shift before us.
Two figures, Casa and Sele, emerge in the space between two worlds. They are connected, united and silenced - each other's reflections and alter egos in a reality gradually turned upside down. They inhabit the same reality, yet each their own: are they waiting for something, or has time already passed them by? Are they locked in, or free to leave? The performance asks how we maintain relationships, agency and connection in a world where distances grow and new intrigues constantly unfold.
The siren sounds again. Is it real, or just a radio in the neighboring apartment? Do Casa and Sele hear what they fear, or what they long for? What first appears as a promise gradually transforms and must be renegotiated. In Between Time points toward the future, togetherness and hope, but also toward what we still carry with us in a time when reality seems to exceed itself.
The performance offers no clear answers. It invites the audience to dwell in the unresolved and to reconsider what it means to be human in a world that has not yet found its center of gravity - where something has already shifted, and something has not yet landed.
