Baby Sensorimotor Café for 0-1 Year-Olds
Sorø Bibliotek, Sorø · Free
The baby café focuses on sensorimotor development for infants aged 0-1 year. Through simple exercises, rhymes and play, parents learn to stimulate their baby's senses, body awareness and basic motor skills - activities that can easily be brought home and repeated in daily life. Sensorimotor training early in life supports how the child experiences their body and creates movement.
The instruction is led by Marlene Dafne from BALANCEBØRN, a trained baby and child therapist, motor therapist and child health advisor with a clinic in Sorø. She answers professional questions and provides individual guidance about your child.
Entry is free, but tickets must be booked in advance - the ticket is booked for the baby. Tickets can be collected at the libraries during opening hours or via the website. If sold out, you can join the waiting list on Place2book on a first-come, first-served basis. If you cannot attend after all, please cancel so the spot is released to others.
The event is held on the 1st floor, accessible by stairs or elevator. Parking is available on Storgade, the square, in Munkevænget and at Holbergarkaden (entrance from Rolighedsvej). Disabled parking is available in several places on Storgade, including two spaces at Biblioteksporten to Den Grønne Scene.
