Højskolesangbogen (The Folk High School Songbook) explores themes of faith, hope, love, the seasons, and what it means to be human. At these community singing evenings, we sing through the book's songs - both new and old, familiar and lesser-known - accompanied by pianist Marianne Reiche.

Programme for the season:
- September: Singing at Lille Claus with Erik Lindsø (ticket purchased separately, 100 kr.)
- October: Carl Christian Bringgaard and Marianne Reiche - about Jeppe Åkjær
- November: Leif Kledal
- December: Pernille Hviid

Prices: 25 kr. per evening. Season ticket for October-December (3 evenings): 75 kr.

Coffee and tea are served - feel free to bring your own cup. The event takes place on the 1st floor with access via stairs and lift.

If an evening is fully booked, you can join the waiting list via Place2book. If you have purchased a ticket and cannot attend, please cancel so the place can be offered to others.

About the venue: Sorø Bibliotek

Sorø Bibliotek is housed in "de unge herrers gård" on Storgade - one of the oldest buildings in town, erected in 1623-25 by Christian IV as lodgings for his sons while they attended Sorø Akademi. The library has occupied almost the entire building since 1956, and the original half-timbering is still visible in the courtyard. Alongside books and digital services, the library hosts lectures, film screenings, music events and workshops; Sorø Bykontor (the municipal tourist office) is also based here.
