Meet Jacob Mark

Jacob Mark gives a personal lecture based on his book 'Signalfejl' (Signal Error), continuing where his previous book 'Fartblind' left off. He speaks about stress, vulnerability, and the signals the body and brain send when the pace becomes too high - and about choosing a different direction.

When he returns to the Danish Parliament after seven months of stress-related sick leave, he is thrown directly into debates, TV appearances, and election campaigns. Outwardly, he appears as a comeback kid with everything under control, but internally he struggles with stress and anxiety symptoms. Privately, he and his wife, Christina K. Hansen, mayor of Holbæk Municipality, buy a farm where their son Theodor is born - and the question grows stronger: "Should I not have come back?"

It ends in a dramatic political exit. Jacob Mark leaves the spotlight and enters a life with room for family, tractor driving, and an apple orchard - but also with the realization that stress is not something you quickly recover from.
