Meet Jørgen Skouboe from 'Nak og Æd' — Holstebro Bibliotek, Holstebro

Jørgen Skouboe Møller gives a lecture about his work on the TV programme 'Nak og Æd' and his views on hunting. In the first half, he answers questions such as: Why is it called Nak og Æd? Does a polecat taste good? And what draws so many viewers to the show?

After the break, the focus shifts to the Nordic region - hunting for Nordic wildlife and encounters with Nordic hunting cultures. He covers White Tail in Finland, a bearded seal on Svalbard in the polar bear's pantry, musk oxen in Greenland at minus 38 degrees, the capercaillie in Sweden, reindeer in Iceland, the fulmar on the Faroe Islands, and fishing for halibut on Lofoten - 350 km out in the Norwegian Sea.

The event takes place in the Library Hall and is a collaboration between FOF Nordvestjylland and Holstebro Library. Price: 165 kr. Tickets are purchased at www.fof.dk.
