Author Nanna Hyldgaard Hansen visits Holstebro Library to discuss her book Train Journeys for Beginners. The evening is for anyone considering taking a holiday by train.

She covers practical advice on finding the cheapest tickets, traveling with Interrail and Senior Rail, and getting help with planning. She also explains how to claim refunds for delays, what it's like to take night trains, eat in the dining car, change trains, and store luggage.

The book also suggests holiday destinations in Denmark's neighboring countries and beyond, with trips for all seasons. All destinations are chosen because they are easy to reach by train.

Nanna Hyldgaard Hansen is an author, lecturer, and journalist. She has worked with climate and sustainability throughout most of her career and has written four books on the subject from different angles. Her first was Live for Half the Price.
