Maren Uthaug (born 1972 in Kautokeino, Norway) is a Danish-Norwegian-Sámi author and comics creator who has drawn the daily strip "Ting jeg gjorde" in the newspaper Politiken since 2013. Her work ranges from graphic novels to satirical speculative fiction, all marked by a raw, sardonic voice. She has won the DR Roman Prize, De Gyldne Laurbær and Læsernes Bogpris, and in 2024 received a three-year grant from Statens Kunstfond.
The novel 1% - the concluding volume in the percent trilogy - will be released on September 24, 2026, and Uthaug celebrates the publication with a show at Skråen in Aalborg on September 28.
