Mr Woofmantic Games & Jazz (Games exhibition)

Mr Woofmantic Games & Jazz - interactive exhibition: Saturday 21 November 2026, 10:00–17:00, Kildevæld Kulturcenter, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

This exhibition showcases video games that push beyond the ordinary - often featuring alternative controllers rarely seen elsewhere. Game developers are on hand to discuss the ideas behind their work, and some titles are so old they require special equipment or custom setup from the developers themselves to be displayed.

Music plays a central role in the exhibition, from classic rhythm games to more experimental music games where sound and gameplay intertwine. Both musicians and game developers are among the guests, and there are also multiplayer games you can try with others.

Parts of the exhibition take place in converted changing rooms and shower stalls, where mature themes such as intimacy, mental health, and marginalized perspectives are explored in a private setting. Content is clearly marked with warnings. The programme includes both Danish indie and guest shows from Berlin.

The exhibition is part of Game On, a week-long gaming festival in Copenhagen focused on play, community, and creativity around game universes - both video games and board games. This year the festival takes place at multiple venues across the city: Kildevæld Kulturcenter, Grøndal Multicenter, Kulturstationen Vanløse, Spillaboratoriet in Valby Kulturhus, BRØK, Kulturhuset Indre By, Nørrebrohallen, Tingbjerg Library and Cultural Centre, Vesterbro Library and Cultural Centre, and Sydhavnens Library.
