Catch the Story - Little Virgil Exhibition

Catch the Story - Little Virgil Exhibition: 4 November – 30 December 2026, Blågårdens Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

This exhibition is based on the quirky universe of Ole Lund Kirkegaard's book "Little Virgil". Children can explore, play and dress up.

You can set up a puppet theatre, shop at the grocer's, take a bus ride or try your hand at blacksmithing. There are groceries, costumes and a giant liquorice pipe to play with. The exhibition is open during the library's staffed opening hours.

The event is part of Weekend for Children on Nørrebro. These are cultural and movement activities for children and their adults, held on Saturdays and Sundays in sports halls, libraries and cultural centres with support from the Nørrebro Local Committee. The venues are Blågårdens Library, Nørrebro Library, Korsgadehallen, Nørrebrohallen, Osramhuset and Støberiet.

The 2026 programme is available at weekendforbørn.dk and is updated regularly.
