SEEDS - Film Screening and Seed Swap Market

DN Rudersdal and Vilde Have Ambassadørerne Rudersdal present an evening about seeds, plants and biodiversity at Birkerød Library.

The evening's special guest is filmmaker Isabelle Denaro, who made the acclaimed documentary 'Frø' - a film about plant seeds as cultural heritage, biodiversity and a source of hope. She introduces the film before it is shown on the big screen. It runs approximately 50 minutes, followed by a conversation with the director.

Afterwards, a pop-up seed swap market opens with a wide selection of plant seeds - both native and more exotic species. You are welcome to bring your own seeds from your garden or collecting trips, but it is not required. Green snacks and drinks are served throughout the evening.

The organisers also want to build a local network of seed enthusiasts this evening. The event is arranged in collaboration with the Danish Nature Conservation Association Rudersdal and supported by Rudersdal Municipality's Sustainable Development Goals fund.
