Handel's Messiah - chamber interpretation: Tuesday 8 December 2026, 19:30–21:30, Sct Peders Kirke, Næstved, Næstved. Tickets cost 110–225 kr.

Georg Friedrich Handel's Messiah, with its famous Hallelujah chorus, is a Christmas staple for many. At Sct Peders Church in Næstved, the work is performed by conductor Bo Holten and his vocal ensemble Musica Ficta together with musicians from Camerata Øresund.

The nine singers serve as both soloists and choir members. This creates a transparent and lively sound where details stand out clearly. The interpretation is intimate and chamber-like, with crisp Baroque character and great energy.

Performers: Musica Ficta and Camerata Øresund. Conductor: Bo Holten.
