Create Christmas Story with Brage from DR: Friday 11 December 2026, 16:00–18:00, Birkerød Bibliotek, Birkerød. Admission is free.

Birkerød Library welcomes Brage from The Great Christmas Tale, played by actor Troells Toya. Together with Brage and the audience, a brand new Christmas story will be created.

Programme:

16:00-16:15: Welcome and storytelling exercises to set the mood.

16:15-16:30: Brage tells stories from The Great Christmas Tale.

16:30-17:00: Brage and the audience create the Christmas story together.

17:00-18:00: Meet Brage and have a chat.

There is no cost to participate in the storytelling activity, and no ticket is required. However, it is important to arrive from the start. The event is aimed at children from 7 years and up and is created in collaboration with DR.

This year Birkerød has been transformed into Vester Kløj, the cosy town from DR's Christmas calendar The Great Christmas Tale. Rudersdal Municipality, local associations, cultural institutions, shops and volunteers are working together to offer Christmas activities for the whole family, so the story comes alive throughout Rudersdal.
