Super Parquet

Super Parquet works at the intersection of traditional folk music from central France and electronic production. Antoine Cognet, Louis Jacques and Léo Petoin draw from the drone-heavy music and three-part bourrées of village dances in Auvergne, while Julien Baratay and Simon Drouhin bring synthesizers and machines from rave culture into the soundscape.

The two traditions share repetitive patterns, drone tones and acoustic overtones - and it is precisely in this overlap that the band finds its expression. Live, they build a loud, cohesive performance with traditional instruments, electronics and custom-built synthesizers around regional dance rhythms.

TRUCS

TRUCS is a percussion project with unusual instrumentation: amplified cattle bells and modified drums. The French duo - Alexis Toussaint and Romain Colautti, both from the rock group Artús - create irregular rhythms, steady beats and sustained drone tones, where folk melodies and harmonies from the Pyrenees merge into one coherent piece lasting 45 minutes.

The name means "blow" or "collision" in Occitan and also refers to the brass bells that mountain cattle wear. The performance's structure is inspired by transhumance - the seasonal migration of livestock marked by physical exertion and isolation. On stage the two musicians stand face to face, surrounded by custom-made drum sets, traditional tambourines with strings and a stand with hanging bells.
