Children's Rhythm Class, Ages 3-5 — Bibliotekshuset, Copenhagen

Pernille Broberg Balle, a rhythm pedagogue and motor skills advisor, uses drum rhythms and children's own imagination as the foundation for the sessions. Gross motor skills are developed through play - via song and free movement.

The class is for children aged 3-5, and costs 60 kr. per session for one child and one adult. Classes take place in Kælderen.

About the venue: Bibliotekshuset

Bibliotekshuset is a local public library on Amager, part of the Copenhagen municipal library network. The ground floor has lending machines, book displays and reading nooks, the basement is set up as a quiet non-fiction zone, and the first floor offers study seats, daily newspapers and computers. A rooftop terrace opens in summer. The library also acts as a neighbourhood hub, hosting reading clubs, a board-game club, a craft club and a Danish conversation group. Outside staffed hours it operates as a self-service library accessible with a health card.
