A weekend watercolor course for beginners and intermediate painters at Sønderjyllands Kunstskole.

The instruction covers fundamental painting techniques, materials, and tools. More experienced participants receive guidance to develop their existing skills further. The course alternates between presentations, demonstrations, individual painting work, and personal instruction.

The course runs over two days - Saturday, September 26 from 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday, September 27 from 9 am to 3:30 pm - comprising 16 lessons in total.

About the venue: Sønderjyllands Kunstskole

Sønderjyllands Kunstskole was founded in 1979 under the name Sønderjyllands Kunstakademi, with its first courses running in spring 1980. Since 2017 the school has been based on the upper floors of Multikulturhuset on Sønderborg harbour. Teaching covers classical disciplines - drawing, painting, watercolour, sculpture, graphic art and art history - alongside newer fields such as photography, video and computer art. In addition to daytime classes, the school runs weekly, evening and weekend courses, debate lectures and a children's art school.
