DR Big Band and conductor Miho Hazama open the 2026-27 season with a concert bringing together six years of collaborative work into one programme. Hazama is Grammy-nominated, and their partnership has gained international recognition in the jazz world.

The programme features music from a new album with compositions written by Hazama specifically for DR Big Band, released on Edition Records - complemented by selections from the band's archive and highlights from the recently celebrated 60th anniversary.

Immediately after the Denmark tour, DR Big Band and Hazama travel to Japan for the third time, performing at some of the country's most prestigious jazz venues - places where Hazama has star status.
