Oscar Danielson
Sønderborghus, Sønderborg · 210 kr. · ≈ 28 €
Swedish singer-songwriter Oscar Danielson comes to Denmark on a trio tour with his understated folk-pop songs - lyrics that balance between the naive, the ironic, and the sharply observant, carried by dark humour and a particular warmth.
He debuted in 1996 with the critically acclaimed album "Schysst & Svärd" and achieved his breakthrough with the follow-up "Gitarren är mitt svärd" in 1998. Since then he has established himself on the Nordic music scene, and the track "Besvärjelse" from the album "Stockholm Mitt Hjärta" (2011) has been streamed over three million times - out of a total of 10 million streams on Spotify. In 2012 he received a Swedish Grammy for the children's album "Det kostar på att vara barn".
Danielson is also a novelist and published several books alongside his music career in the 2000s.
On the Danish tour he performs in a trio with Morten Okbo (drums/vocals) and Janus Bechmann (guitar/vocals).
