Writing Workshop: Get Started with Your Children's Book

Award-winning children's author Rebecca Bach-Lauritsen guides participants through presentations and writing exercises to help them begin writing a children's book, drawing on her new book "When I Become Small Again". The workshop is aimed at adults, lasts two hours, and is free but requires registration via Billetto.

The event takes place at Copenhagen Main Library, 4th floor, LIVE. Seating is very limited, so expect to work with your laptop or paper on your lap. Bring your own computer and/or paper and pen, as computers are not provided. The floor has a water station and a coffee machine - bring a cup or bottle for water.

The 4th floor is reached by elevator or stairs to the right when you enter the Central Hall from Krystalgade, or via the escalators to the 3rd floor and then the stairs to the right. The stage area is to the right when you arrive on the floor.

Rebecca Bach-Lauritsen received the Danish Arts Foundation's three-year working grant in literature in 2026. Writing workshops at Copenhagen Libraries are standalone events with varying themes and instructors - not part of a series.
