WAITLIST! Debut Authors of the Month: Sigrid Adamsson and Oline Hyllested Madsen

Two debut authors share the stage when Debut Author of the Month returns to the Main Library on Tuesday, September 1st, 17:00-18:15. Sigrid Adamsson and Oline Hyllested Madsen discuss their respective novels with literature mediator Mathias Emil Stenrøs as interviewer.

'Skyerne' (The Clouds) by Sigrid Adamsson explores youth's freedom and longing, love and sorrow - written with psychological and poetic precision. Oline Hyllested Madsen's 'Dullerne' (The Dolls) examines the communities and emotions that arise between girls and young women in private spaces, blending humour, tenderness and gravity. Both novels play with genre and shift between the light and the heavy, and both centre on friendship as a theme.

You don't need to have read the books to get something out of the conversation. The event takes place at LIVE, Main Stage, 4th floor, and admission is free with a ticket - seats cannot be reserved in advance, and from certain seats the view of the stage is limited.

About the authors
Sigrid Adamsson (b. 1994) works as a translator and critic; 'Skyerne' is her debut. Oline Hyllested Madsen (b. 1999) studied at the Swedish Biskops Arnös Författarskola, and 'Dullerne' is her first novel.

Finding your way to LIVE, 4th floor
From the Central Hall (entrance from Krystalgade) there are three options: the lift to the right of the entrance (the stage is to the right when you exit), the stairs in the same place up to the 4th floor, or the escalators to the 3rd floor and then the stairs to the right up to the 4th floor.
