Landowners' Meeting - Nitrogen Initiatives in the Als Sund Catchment

On Monday, 7 September 2026, 17:00-19:00, Sønderborg Municipality and SPIRAS host a meeting for landowners interested in water environment, nitrogen reduction, and wetland establishment in the municipality's catchment areas. Light refreshments are included.

The programme builds on the spring excursion with SONFOR and includes a technical presentation by Anders Chr. Erichsen from DHI. He will review the calculation methods behind the nitrogen requirements and explain why the requirements for Als Sund are particularly stringent. The opportunities for fast-track wetlands will also be presented, including the expected proportion of the intervention target this measure is anticipated to cover.

There will be ongoing opportunities for questions and experience sharing throughout the meeting.
