Tufting - Cosy Wall Carpets

Tufting is the modern take on rya: you create your own small rugs with colors and patterns of your choice. The course runs over two Monday evenings and costs 250 kr. including materials.

You'll learn the technique from scratch, and afterward you can continue your work at Håndværkeriet. A starter kit with Danella needles, frames, and yarn scraps is included - you're welcome to bring your own yarn scraps. Even-weight wool yarn works best, but other yarn types can be used up to needle size 4/5. If you want to continue working at Håndværkeriet after the course, you'll need to bring your own yarn.

Your instructor is Inger Berg, a staff member at Håndværkeriet, where she primarily works in the sewing studio but also works with glass, clay, and other creative materials.
