Children's Programme

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., children can build hand puppets with monster motifs in an art workshop led by Rudersdal Art School. After 7 p.m., the workshop continues without instruction for those brave enough to explore the monsters' world on their own. Author and illustrator Thomas Knappe holds mini-theatre and a workshop from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the question: How would you hunt a monster?

Adult Programme

Twice during the evening - 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. - there is guided group reading based on the Golden Days theme Monster, where participants read and discuss a short story or poem. At 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Maria Østerby Elleby gives the lecture "The Paradox of Witch Hunts", arranged in collaboration with Rudersdal Museums.

Associations and Activities

Soroptimist International Birkerød runs a café from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with refreshments for both children and adults. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., you can try tabletop gaming in Warhammer Warcry with the Birkespil Association, make bookmarks with Stop Textile Waste Rudersdal, or participate in a seed-swap workshop with Eva Anna Frederiksen, Rudersdal's Wild Garden Mentor - here you can exchange seeds and take them home to your own garden.
