Embroidery Workshop

Textile educator Mette Mehlsen introduces cross-stitch as a creative medium - techniques, colours, and a bit of textile history. During the workshop, participants practise stitches and develop patterns, and everyone takes a square project home in progress.

Bring your own sewing supplies. Lamps are provided, but you need to bring your own magnifying glass. Materials for practice stitching and a small project are included, and there will be some opportunity to buy extra materials. (Stitching is done on 8x8 thread linen and 4.4 aida.)

The workshop is open to beginners and experienced stitchers - everyone over 14 is welcome. Price: 150 kr. including coffee/tea and snacks.
