Mathias Heise and Bjarke Mogensen present classical music on harmonica and accordion at Søbygård Koncertsal in Søby Ærø on Wednesday, 26 August 2026 at 19:30. About: Mathias Heise

World champion on the chromatic harmonica and one of the most decorated voices in Danish jazz, Mathias Heise has been redefining what the instrument can do since his teens. Eight solo albums and collaborations with the Danish Radio Big Band and Niels Lan Doky, among others, have made him a central figure on the Danish jazz scene.

About: Bjarke Mogensen

Born on Bornholm, Bjarke Mogensen made his solo debut at 13 with the Munich Symphony Orchestra on German television and has since built an international career as an accordion virtuoso, with over 60 works written for him. His programmes range from Bach and Scarlatti to the latest Danish contemporary music.
