The Broken Beats

The Broken Beats emerge from a years-long hiatus with a release and comeback tour in 2026 to mark the launch of their seventh album, Rivera Dreams.

The band recently supported Swedish group Atomic Swing on all shows of their Danish tour and also opened for The Libertines at two sold-out concerts in Switzerland in summer 2025. In their heyday, they performed at all the major Danish festivals, sold out countless venues, and took the stage at Tivoli and as support for Nephew at KB-Hallen.

Their music - which they call "whirling power pop" - is rooted in pop and rock with British and Swedish influences, but also incorporates experimental elements from other genres. Hits like Essentials and The Rules (the latter became the theme song for the DR2 programme "Manden med de gyldne ører" with Nikolaj Steen) have made them Week's Essential and have been played around 4,000 times combined on P3, P4 and P6.
